1:1 Behaviour Mentor| £110-130| Long term to permanent| Brent
Are you looking to make a lasting impact on our most vulnerable children in society? This next role might be for you…
An inclusive specialist school in the Hampsted area seeking a nurturing and resilient individual to provide 1:1 support to a Key Stage 3 child with ASC and global delay. You will face challenging behaviour; therefore, you will need patience, empathy and the ability to start everyday with a clean slate.
This school values fostering a sense of community within their school and developing confident pupils that are prepared for next steps in their journey and education. They are dedicated to supporting children between 7 to 16 years of age with ASC using a therapeutic-based approach, who have struggled to access mainstream education.
If you are looking for a new beginning with fantastic career development opportunities, we are looking for:
- A compassionate individual who can support providing a safe environment for children and young people.
- An approach that is flexible to adapt to a continuously developing specialist school.
- A team player who can also use their initiative to provide the best opportunities to children’s learning.
- A nurturing personality that is also confident in setting boundaries.
- Team Teach physical intervention training is desirable, but full training will be provided.
If you have experience working with SEMH or other complex challenging behaviour, or perhaps you have a degree in psychology, social work or other relevant areas, we would love to hear from you! Please call 020 3011 4848 and ask for Bethany to discuss this opportunity, or email bethany@psinclusion.co.uk.
If the role isn’t quite what you’re looking for, please get in touch anyway. Parker Smith Inclusion is an ethical SEND recruitment agency that will match your skills and experience to a role that is right for you.
