We are seeking a compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 1 student with ASD and ADHD. You will play a key role in helping the student access the curriculum, develop their social skills, and follow a structured daily routine within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities

Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Year 1 student with ASD and ADHD

Assist the student in engaging with classroom activities and learning tasks

Support the development of structure and routine throughout the school day

Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through empathy and consistency

Work closely with teachers and staff to meet the student’s individual needs

Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting children with additional needs, including ASD and ADHD (desirable)

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

Ability to provide structure and consistency while remaining flexible to the child’s needs

Team player who collaborates effectively with teachers and support staff
