1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Harlesden
Pay: £90 to £100 per day dependent on experience
Contract: Full time Monday to Friday

A specialist SEMH school in Harlesden is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. Your role will focus on helping them manage emotions stay engaged in learning and develop strong personal skills that support long term growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs throughout the school day
• Use de escalation restorative and trauma informed strategies
• Support personalised learning activities routines and interventions
• Help pupils build confidence emotional regulation and positive behaviour habits
• Work closely with teachers therapists and pastoral teams to provide consistent support
