Do you have the patience, resilience and enthusiasm to help a young person overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a specialist SEMH school in Harrow seeking a dedicated 121 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a student with ADHD.
The school supports young people who may have struggled in mainstream education and require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation and learning.
About the Role
As a 121 Teaching Assistant, you will provide consistent, individualised support throughout the school day, helping a student engage with learning and develop confidence and independence.
You will build a positive relationship, encourage participation in lessons and support the development of appropriate behaviours and routines.
You'll need to maintain clear boundaries, remain calm under pressure and adapt your approach to meet the student's individual needs.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of patience, consistency and building trust.
