Full-Time 1:1 Support Assistant – Visual Need Support | Wimbledon | ASAP Start | Long-Term Role

Parker Smith Inclusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a child with visual needs in a welcoming and inclusive all age through school in Wimbledon.
Location: Wimbledon
Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday–Friday)
Start Date: ASAP Via Parker Smith Inclusion
About the Role:
We are looking for a nurturing and reliable individual to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with visual support needs. This is a long-term position with the potential to make a lasting impact in the child’s educational journey.
You must be able to support secondary education across English, Maths, and other subjects.
You will:
- Support the child in accessing the curriculum using tailored strategies and resources
- Work closely with the class teacher and external specialists
- Adapt learning materials and provide mobility support where necessary
- Foster independence and confidence in the child’s learning and daily activities
About You:
- Previous experience working with children with visual impairments or additional needs (desirable)
- Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about inclusive education
- Able to commit to a full-time, long-term position
- A team player with excellent communication skills
