Are you an English Teacher with a heart for transforming lives? Do you thrive in nurturing, supportive environments focused on holistic student development? Perhaps you are eager to gain experience in trauma-informed practice or Mental Health to bring into your mainstream teaching practice?

If so, this role in an Alternative Provision could be the perfect fit for you.

This unique setting is ideal for teachers looking to extend their skills in mental health and autism, working with small classes of 4-5 students, sometimes as few as one due to attendance. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships and deliver high-quality, tailored teaching that meets each student's individual needs.

  • Teaching pupils with Autism, SEMH, learning difficulties and young people considered at-risk
  • Engage high-ability students in a setting that values academic excellence and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment. This is a very collegiate setting!
  • Benefit from smaller class sizes, enabling you to focus on each student's holistic development
  • Work in a setting that understands mental health challenges and provides exceptional support and care

  • A professional who is adaptable, compassionate, and committed to continuous learning and growth

Why This Role?

  • Specialist Experience – Extend your expertise in mental health and autism in a supportive, specialist setting
  • Small Classes – Enjoy teaching in smaller groups, allowing for more focused and impactful teaching
