Are you a passionate Art Teacher with QTS, looking for a rewarding role in a creative and supportive school? Do you have the skills to inspire and engage students with Autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs?
We are recruiting an Art Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in Wandsworth. The school caters to students aged 11–19 with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This full-time, long-term role starts in February, offering the chance to make a real impact in a nurturing and creative learning environment.
The Role – Art Teacher (QTS)
- Planning and delivering engaging and accessible Art lessons tailored to students' needs
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, helping them express themselves creatively
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN specialists
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom where all students can thrive
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Art specialism preferred
- Experience working with students with SEN, Autism, and behavioural challenges is desirable
- A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for making a difference
