SEND Learning Support Assistant – ASC Resource Provision (ARP)
Role: LSA / Support Staff
Location: Romford
Pay: £90–£100 per day, PAYE
Contract: Long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity
We are working on behalf of a mainstream primary school with an attached ARP for children with high and complex needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference for children with autism and other complex needs, some of whom may require personal care.
You’ll need a strong understanding of autism and how it can present in behaviour, alongside patience, empathy, and creativity. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a bubbly, fun, proactive personality, someone who thrives in a busy environment and is proactive.
What you’ll do:
- Support children with high needs in both mainstream and ARP settings
- Assist with personal care as required
- Implement strategies to support social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive, engaging learning environment
