ASC Teacher – September 2026 – Hounslow, West London

Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract Type: Permanent and Temp to Perm Opportunities Available
Salary: Paid to scale M1 - UPS3 + SEN Allowance

What if your teaching became the turning point where a child finally feels seen, not just supported?

From September 2026, a network of SEN schools and specialist provisions across Hounslow and West London are recruiting SEN Teachers. These settings are built around structure, smaller class sizes, and consistent support, giving pupils the stability they need to engage with learning.

This role is well suited to an experienced SEN Teacher, a SEND specialist, or a Primary or Secondary Teacher looking to transition into a specialist environment. You’ll be in a setting where progress is tangible, often measured in the small but significant steps that build confidence and independence.

Pupils present with a range of needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, dyslexia, and global developmental delay. With strong staff ratios and tailored support, you’ll be able to deliver focused teaching that meets each pupil where they are.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons aligned to individual needs
  • Supporting pupils using structured and evidence-based approaches
  • Creating a calm, consistent and predictable classroom environment
  • Working towards EHCP targets and personalised learning outcomes
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and families
  • Using practical strategies to support behaviour, engagement and progress

What we’re looking for

  • QTS or QTLS
  • Experience in SEN, or a strong interest in transitioning into a specialist setting
  • Understanding of differentiation, behaviour support and inclusive teaching
  • A calm, consistent and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

What these schools offer

  • SEN settings across primary, secondary and specialist provisions
  • Supportive leadership teams and clear structures
  • Ongoing CPD and SEN-focused training
  • Smaller class sizes with strong staff ratios
  • Well-resourced and purposeful learning environments
  • Salary paid to scale with SEN allowance
  • Permanent opportunities with progression pathways

If you’re looking for a role where teaching is shaped around the child, and progress is seen in meaningful, everyday breakthroughs, this September 2026 opportunity in Hounslow offers exactly that.
