The Role – ASC Teacher
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on pupils’ lives by:

Delivering engaging, tailored lessons that meet a wide range of learning needs

Teaching small groups of pupils with Autism and SEMH across primary and secondary phases

Creating a consistent, supportive classroom environment that promotes trust and stability

Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social interaction

Monitoring progress closely and adapting teaching strategies to maximise outcomes

Working closely with therapists, support staff and families to provide holistic support

The Ideal Candidate
This role would suit both experienced SEND teachers and those looking to transition from mainstream settings. The school is looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has experience supporting pupils with Autism and/or SEMH

Demonstrates a calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour

Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Is committed to inclusive education and continuous development

Brings creativity and flexibility into their teaching practice
