About The Special School:
A unique and forward thinking special school in East London are recruiting ASC teaching assistants for September 2026. This school caters for secondary students that have a diagnosis of autism but also have other complex needs and are working to a lower curriculum.
Operating as a part of a trust that functions across East London, this special school boasts incredible development and training opportunities with a focus on staff retention and supporting talent.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 year Special Needs Experience: A solid foundation in a special needs school setting desirable, however any SEN experience that you can translate into a special setting always welcome.
Passion for the Sector: A deep commitment to the special needs sector, driven by a genuine passion for making a difference.
Resilience: The ability to remain steadfast when facing challenging situations, ensuring our students receive the support they deserve.
Availability: Dedication to working full-time, Monday to Friday, on a long-term basis.
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of SEND: Join our vibrant community and become a part of our remarkable journey where you are supporting a range of special needs pupils who have a range of needs, including ASD, SLD, and Complex Needs.
You will be required to complete a child & adult DBS check if your current DBS is not to this standard for this role.
