Are you an aspiring SENCo? Are you either currently studying your SENCo whilst teaching or looking to start it soon? Can you teach English & Maths?
PS Inclusion works in partnership with a unique setting created for p-16 students that have a passion for the Arts, they are learning specialist courses specific to their interests and intend to go onto universities such as UAL.
I'm looking for a Teacher that has ideally taught Art, Drama, Music, Fashion, Textiles (or all of the above) but is also competent in teaching functional skills English & Maths, as your role will include supporting the lead teacher with their lessons. BUT - teaching will only be a small part of your role, you'll main focus will be supporting the SENCo with annual reviews, EHCPs, safeguarding, and general pastoral support across the school. You'll be the person the students may go to when they have an emotional issue or need to lean on someone for advice, you could be supporting with the families and home life or just general support with their academic studies and being a champion for their wellbeing.
This school will support you with your SENCo application in the future but to be considered you simply have to be just interested and can see that route for yourself.
