We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) who is looking for progression, or an existing Assistant SENDCo, to join a highly regarded specialist provision supporting students with autism and sensory processing needs.
This is a very specific and rewarding role, working closely alongside the SENDCo and Deputy SENDCo, with responsibility for annual reviews and SEND processes. The NASENCo qualification is not required.
We have a strong relationship with the school’s Senior Leadership Team and are arranging interviews immediately, so candidates must be available at short notice.
About the Role – Assistant SENDCo
- Work closely with the SENDCo and Deputy SENDCo to support SEND provision across the school

Lead and contribute to Annual Reviews, including confidence using the required documentation/templates

Support SEND administration, EHCP processes, and coordination of support

Liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals

Help ensure high-quality, compliant SEND provision for students from across the UK
About the School
This specialist setting supports pupils aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH and complex sensory needs. This is a very unique role as it's for an online provision.
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience with Annual Reviews and SEND documentation

Confidence working with autism and sensory needs

Either:

Calm, organised, and emotionally resilient

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practice
(NASENCo qualification is not required.)
