Autism Teacher – SEN – Kingston upon Thames
Start: September | Contract: Long-Term to Permanent | Salary: £180 - £250 PAYE per day, in line with MPS Outer London

We are working with a wonderful specialist SEND school in Kingston upon Thames seeking a passionate Autism Teacher to join their dedicated team this September. This is a full-time, long-term to permanent opportunity for a teacher who believes in the power of nurturing, inclusive education.
About the role:
- Teach a small, supported class of up to 8 pupils with Autism, SLD and PMLD
- Work closely with a strong team of 3–4 Teaching Assistants
- Deliver a creative, engaging curriculum tailored to each pupil’s needs and learning styles
- Support pupils with sensory processing needs and behaviours that may challenge, rooted in communication and regulation difficulties
- Collaborate with therapists, families and a forward-thinking leadership team

Who we’re looking for:
- A Qualified Teacher (QTS required) – ECTs with relevant experience are welcome
- Experience working with children or young people with Autism is essential
- Someone confident teaching learners with a wide range of cognitive and communication profiles
- Calm, patient and passionate about inclusive practice
- Skilled in or open to using tools like PECS, Makaton, sensory integration strategies, and communication-focused teaching
