We are looking for a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Harrow. The school caters for secondary-aged pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs, with lessons delivered at a primary level to create a safe, accessible, and nurturing approach to learning.
About the Role

Full-time Autism Teaching Assistant role on a long-term to permanent basis

Supporting students in very small classes (typically 6–8 pupils)

Providing 1:1 and group support with learning, communication, and regulation

Assisting with a primary-level curriculum adapted for KS3 and KS4 students

Using therapeutic strategies to help young people manage behaviour, develop confidence, and feel secure

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other skilled support staff
