We are looking for a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Harrow. The school caters for secondary-aged pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs, with lessons delivered at a primary level to create a safe, accessible, and nurturing approach to learning.

About the Role

• Full-time Autism Teaching Assistant role on a long-term to permanent basis

• Supporting students in very small classes (typically 6–8 pupils)

• Providing 1:1 and group support with learning, communication, and regulation

• Assisting with a primary-level curriculum adapted for KS3 and KS4 students

• Using therapeutic strategies to help young people manage behaviour, develop confidence, and feel secure

• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other skilled support staff
