As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping students learn, communicate, and develop essential life skills. Every day will be different. One moment you’ll be supporting sensory play or communication work, the next you’ll be helping with independence and hydrotherapy activities.
This is a long-term role that could lead to a permanent role, offering absolute stability and the chance to grow within a highly respected SEND setting.
- Experience or a real passion for working with young people with Autism (ASC), SLD or complex needs
- Patient, empathetic and proactive, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
- Open to learning and professional development
- Personal or voluntary experience with SEND is highly valued
If you’re the kind of person who celebrates small wins and believes every child deserves the chance to shine, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
