Autism Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
£90 to £100 per day PAYE
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM

Have you got experience supporting children or young people with Autism and are seeking a new role in a primary setting. We are working alongside a mainstream primary school in West Drayton, Hillingdon who are looking to appoint experienced Autism Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support to students across KS1 or KS2.
This will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately with the opportunity to go permanent upon review. The daily rate will vary depending on your experience from £90 to £100. The role:
- Deliver individual 1:1 support adapted to each students needs in line with their learning ability and goals
- Use visual tools and structured approaches to help sustain attention and engagement
- Manage challenging behaviours and support with sensory needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists and the wider SEN team to promote student development
- Help foster a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning setting
The ideal candidate:
- Professional or personal experience supporting children or young people with special needs
- A genuine interest in developing a career in special needs
- Calm, patient and positive with a proactive attitude towards supporting learning
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Dependable and committed to a long-term role where consistency and stability are important
