About the role:

You will support a KS2 class on a 1:1 basis with pupils with Autism and ADHD, helping to create a calm, structured environment where they can learn and feel secure. You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities, support engagement, and use consistent strategies to manage behaviour and emotional regulation. You will play an important part in helping pupils develop their social, communication, and learning skills.

 

Who this role will suit:

You are patient, calm, and committed to supporting children with additional needs. You will have some understanding of Autism and ADHD, or a willingness to learn, and be confident building positive relationships with pupils. You are flexible, resilient, and able to stay positive in challenging situations, with a genuine desire to help children succeed and grow in confidence.
