An autism specialist school is being created in Beckton for January 2027 and I want to know if you want to be part of it?
This school is already developed in another part of the borough but due to expanision they are moving to a brand new larger building, the students that attend are ages 5-15 and have a profile that includes; Autism, Congitive Learning Disabailities, Behaviour needs, speech & communication and other complex needs.
I am looking for candidates that have experience within a SEND setting however the school are very supportive for any recent graduates that are enthusiatic about SEND or perhaps have personal experience with SEND and will also consider them.
The ideal Autism Teaching Assistant may be...
- A graduate in psychology, social or health sciences looking for a unique and interesting role working with students with special educational needs.
- Engaging and creative in your methods to work with children and support their learning.
- Ambitious and hardworking, open to progression and stepping up when necessary to support students.
- Passionate about a career working with children and young people with special educational needs.
