  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Autism Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Kingston Upon Thames. This full-time, long-term position provides essential support to students across all age groups, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe and structured learning environment.

As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide small group support to students with Autism and complex needs
  • Assist students with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
  • Support students during hydrotherapy sessions, encouraging engagement and participation
  • Help to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement tailored learning strategies
  • Encourage independence and confidence in students through positive reinforcement
