Are you an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist looking to become part of a multidisciplinary therapy team within a school setting?
I am looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to become part of a permanent multidisciplinary therapy team based in a beautiful SEND school specialising in ASD and complex needs.
Main responsibilities for Speech and Language Therapist role:
- Assessment and intervention planning
- Group and individual therapy as required
- Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team
- Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals
- Curriculum development
- Report writing and record keeping
Requirements for Speech and Language Therapists:
- Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic and flexible
- Wants to grow with the school and become a fully immersed member of the team
- Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Is RCSLT and HCPC registered or working towards this
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
