Parker Smith Inclusion is excited to partner with a nurturing SEMH school in Chelmsford that is committed to helping young people thrive emotionally and academically.

This specialist setting supports students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, providing a structured, therapeutic environment where relationships are at the heart of everything. Many students require additional guidance to feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work across both primary and secondary phases, supporting pupils from early years through to GCSE level. You will help students regulate emotions, develop positive coping strategies, and re-engage with their education in a meaningful way.

This is a highly rewarding role, offering the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships, support students through challenges, and celebrate their progress — both big and small. You’ll join an experienced, welcoming team committed to providing consistent support for both students and colleagues.

Key Highlights:

  • Work with students across primary and secondary phases.

  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.

  • Be part of a caring, experienced team.

  • Make a tangible difference in students’ educational and personal development.
