Parker Smith Inclusion is partnering with a school to find a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team. This role involves working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. We are looking for individuals who have a firm approach but understand the importance of boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent and firm support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and deliver individualised support plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviour.
- A firm yet compassionate approach to behaviour management.
- Ability to establish and maintain clear boundaries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working term time only, with the potential for a temp-to-perm transition.
Pay Range: £90 per day
