I am looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join a friendly primary school in Kingston Upon Thames. As a successful Positive Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be supporting children with SEND / SEMH who have dysregulated behaviour. This role is to start ASAP on a full-time basis.

SEND / SEMH Challenging Behaviour
- Difficulty following instructions or rules.
- Struggles with emotional regulation, often resulting in outbursts or withdrawal.
- Low tolerance for frustration or stress, leading to avoidance or aggressive behaviours.
- Challenges in forming and maintaining relationships with peers and adults.
- Sensitivity to environmental or social changes.
Requirements
- Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, during school hours (8:30am - 15:45pm)
- Able to start as early as possible
- Must have experience working in school settings providing support for children with SEND / SEMH
- Able to build professional and trusting relationships
- Able to commute to Kingston Upon Thames
- Have excellent communication skills
