Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant / SEMH Support Worker to join an inclusive school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant / SEMH Support Worker, you will:

Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to support SEMH needs

Help manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour strategies

Support pupils to engage with learning and develop social, emotional, and communication skills

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to implement personalised support plans

Create a safe, calm, and nurturing learning environment
About You

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, either in school, care, or community settings

Patient, resilient, and empathetic with a positive, proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies such as Team Teach is desirable

Understanding of Autism, ADHD, or additional needs is an advantage
