You see behaviour differently, where others may see disruption, you see communication. You notice the patterns, the triggers, and the underlying needs and you know that with the right approach, change is possible.

As a Behavioural Specialist in this SEND setting, your role goes beyond immediate responses. You’ll be a key part of shaping how behaviour is understood and supported across the school.

Working with students who may present with complex needs linked to SEMH, autism, or past experiences, you’ll help create strategies that are consistent, proactive, and built to last.

Because real progress takes time, insight, and the right environment. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and leadership, guiding practice, modelling approaches, and helping to create calm, structured spaces where students can succeed.

Experience within SEND or specialist provisions can be important, but if you are a psychology graduate and your ability to influence practice and support others is key, we would be more than happy to discuss opportunities with you.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we connect professionals with schools that value their expertise, where you can make a genuine difference, not just follow a system.

This is more than managing behaviour, It’s about changing the way it’s understood and the outcomes that follow.
