If you’re someone who uses British Sign Language and truly believes every child deserves to be heard, understood, and included, this role could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
We are working with a warm, inclusive primary school in South West London that is searching for a BSL Skilled LSA to join their team. This isn’t just about supporting learning, it’s about opening up communication, building confidence, and helping deaf pupils feel fully part of school life, every single day.
You’ll be working across both a specialist hearing impairment provision and mainstream classrooms, supporting pupils aged 4–11.
Your BSL skills will be at the heart of everything you do, whether that’s helping a child access a lesson, express themselves, or build friendships. You’ll play a key role in making sure no child feels isolated or left behind.
If you have BSL Level 2 (or you’re working towards it) you will be a great fit for this role. If not, school or deaf provision experience is great, but it's not essential.
If you’re reading this and thinking that this is why you learning BSL, then get in touch and I can give you more information about this role.
This school is ready to welcome someone who is committed, compassionate, and ready to make a real impact so to have a conversation apply with us and let’s have a chat about how this role could be the perfect next step for you.
