About the Role

We’re working with a welcoming specialist school in Thurrock, supporting pupils with complex SEND, including autism, severe learning difficulties and sensory needs.

As a Specialist Complex Needs LSA, you’ll help pupils access learning, build confidence and develop greater independence.

You’ll be:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

• Helping pupils engage with learning

• Using sensory approaches and structured routines

• Supporting communication and emotional regulation

• Providing personal care where required

• Building positive, trusting relationships

• Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff

About You

We’re looking for someone who is patient, compassionate, resilient and adaptable.

SEND experience is welcomed but isn’t essential. We’d also consider candidates from care, youth work, residential childcare, mental health support or psychology.

What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in supporting children with SEND.
