Complex Needs TA – Make a Difference in Havering Primary Schools
£85–£90 per day (PAYE)
Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of children with special educational needs? A group of welcoming primary schools in Havering is looking for compassionate, proactive, and enthusiastic Complex Needs TA to join their teams. Whether you have direct experience or are new to working in schools but have personal experience supporting children, we want to hear from you!
Who We’re Looking For:
We need individuals with a passion for working with vulnerable children, who bring warmth, patience, and a positive approach to each day. You don’t need prior experience in a school setting. As long as you have a genuine drive to start a career in education and a caring, proactive personality, we encourage you to apply. The most important qualities for this role are a big heart, a hardworking spirit, and a willingness to support children in need.
What We Offer:
- A Supportive Community: Our schools foster a nurturing environment where TAs are valued members of the team.
- A Chance to Make a Difference: You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who need extra support.
- On-the-Job Development: Gain hands-on experience in the field of education, with the support of experienced teachers and staff.
Role Overview:
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Pay: £85–£95 per day (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN, helping them to engage, grow, and succeed in a safe, inclusive environment.
- Build meaningful relationships, understanding that all behaviour is a form of communication and adapting to meet each child’s needs.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement tailored learning plans and behavioural strategies.
- Bring a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to each day, uplifting students and the school community alike.
What You’ll Bring:
- A genuine passion for working with children, especially those with SEN.
- A proactive, bubbly, and adaptable approach—someone who brings positivity and energy to the classroom.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- A supportive and empathetic mindset, with a desire to make a difference.
If you’re ready to start an inspiring journey in education, don’t let a lack of experience hold you back—apply now and make a real difference!
