Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with complex needs?
We are a specialist SEND education agency working with schools across Camden, supporting pupils with a range of complex and additional needs including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, and physical disabilities. We are currently looking for compassionate and reliable Complex Needs Teaching Assistants who can provide consistent support to pupils who require a highly personalised approach to learning.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and passionate about helping pupils develop independence, communication skills, and confidence in a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in specialist SEND schools or provisions across Camden who require additional care, communication support, and tailored learning approaches.
Your responsibilities may include:
- • Supporting pupils with autism, PMLD, or complex learning needs
- • Providing 1:1 support or assisting small groups of pupils
- • Supporting pupils with personal care where required
- • Assisting with communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual support systems
- • Helping pupils access learning activities through adapted resources and sensory approaches
- • Working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to support individual learning plans

What We’re Looking For

- • Can work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Experience as a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or support worker is highly desirable.
