Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS3 pupils with complex needs, to join a welcoming, nurturing and highly inclusive specialist setting where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a supportive team that is dedicated to helping young people develop confidence, independence and essential life skills within a caring learning environment. Many pupils are working at a primary learning level and benefit from personalised, creative and hands-on approaches to learning.
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils with learning, communication and emotional needs
- Working closely with teachers and therapists as part of a class team
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students to develop confidence and independence
We are looking for someone who:
- Is patient, compassionate and positive
- Has a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Is adaptable, proactive and willing to learn
- Works well as part of a team
You do not need extensive SEN experience; full training and ongoing support will be provided. They are looking for people with the right attitude, empathy and willingness to learn.
