Deputy SENCO / Inclusion Teacher
South East London | Permanent | Full-Time
M1 - M6 Inner London Pay Scale
As a teacher, you know that supporting students with additional needs is about more than interventions and paperwork. It's about ensuring every young person has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they face.
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with an inclusive secondary school seeking either a qualified Deputy SENCO or an experienced English or Maths Teacher with SEND experience who is looking to develop their career within inclusion.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about SEND and improving outcomes for students who require additional support.
You may already be working within a SEND leadership role, or you may be an English or Maths specialist with experience teaching lower-attaining learners and supporting students with additional needs.
Working closely with the SENCO, teaching staff, families, and external professionals, you will help ensure students receive the support, interventions, and opportunities they need to thrive.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
-
Holds QTS
-
Is a qualified Deputy SENCO or has aspirations to move into SEND leadership
-
Has experience teaching English or Maths, particularly lower-attaining students
-
Has a strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
-
Builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
-
Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning
Why Apply?
This is a school where inclusion is genuinely valued, staff are supported to develop professionally, and collaboration is at the heart of everything they do.
If you're looking for a role where you can combine teaching, SEND expertise, and leadership while making a real difference to students' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
