Some stories begin in classrooms, not with scripts.

If you’re a Drama graduate seeking a meaningful role where your creativity can brighten someone’s day, this may be your chance. We are collaborating with an exceptional specialist setting that supports pupils with various needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

This isn’t just another teaching assistant position. You’ll use drama to connect, communicate, and help young people grow at their own pace and in their own way. Every small breakthrough deserves applause.

What makes this role unique?

  • You’ll support students of all ages, from Early Years to Post-16.
  • You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to create holistic, creative learning experiences.
  • You’ll incorporate movement, voice, rhythm, and improvisation to encourage students to express themselves, even without words.
  • You’ll receive training and support for personal care, assist in hydrotherapy sessions, and engage in sensory activities.
  • You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming team that values genuine inclusion, creativity, and joy in learning.

Who are we looking for?

  • A recent graduate in Drama, Performing Arts, or a similar field.
  • Someone calm, emotionally intelligent, and confident in building relationships through non-verbal communication.
  • An individual willing to assist with personal care and complex learning needs.
  • A curious learner eager to grow within the field of SEND and possibly move into teaching, therapy, or creative arts education.

This full-time, long-term opportunity is perfect for graduates desiring hands-on experience in a specialist educational setting. The school boasts excellent facilities and is deeply values-driven, and you’ll leave each day knowing your presence made a difference.
