Early Years Class Teacher – Autism Specialist Setting
Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time | MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
ECTs Welcome

As a teacher, you want to do more than deliver lessons. You want to help children build confidence, develop communication skills, and achieve milestones that can have a lasting impact on their lives. To do that, you need the right environment around you.

This specialist autism setting has created a culture where both pupils and staff are supported to thrive. With small class sizes, high staffing ratios, and a collaborative team, teachers are given the time, resources, and support needed to deliver truly personalised learning.

Whether your experience comes from Early Years, Primary, SEND, or you are an ECT looking to start your career in specialist education, you will be joining a school that is committed to professional development and outstanding outcomes for its pupils.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

No two days are the same. You may be supporting communication development, delivering sensory-based learning, encouraging independence, or helping pupils achieve individual EHCP targets.

Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families, and senior leaders, you'll be part of a team that celebrates every step of progress and works together to overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

You will lead a class of pupils with Autism and complex learning needs, delivering engaging and personalised learning programmes that support academic, social, and emotional development.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS (ECTs welcome)

  • Has experience in Early Years, Primary, or SEND settings

  • Is passionate about supporting children with Autism

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

  • Is resilient, reflective, and committed to ongoing development

  • Believes every child can succeed with the right support

What You'll Receive

  • A comprehensive SEND-focused CPD programme

  • Supportive and approachable leadership

  • Small class sizes and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios

  • Career progression opportunities

  • A welcoming and collaborative team culture

  • Excellent benefits, including pension schemes, wellbeing support, travel assistance, and free onsite parking

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we believe finding the right school is just as important as finding the right role. If you're looking for a position where you can make a genuine difference while continuing to grow professionally, we'd love to hear from you.
