Are you a qualified Early Years Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact on the lives of children with complex needs?

Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for inclusive education, this could be the perfect opportunity to begin or continue your teaching journey within a highly supportive specialist setting.

We are partnering with a welcoming and well-resourced specialist school in Enfield that supports pupils aged 3–11 with a range of complex needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. The school is seeking a nurturing, creative, and dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

Working within the Early Years provision, you will help create meaningful learning experiences that celebrate every child's achievements and support them to reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Knowledge of, or interest in developing expertise in, Autism, SLD, PMLD, and complex communication needs.
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and families.

Why Apply?

  • Welcoming and supportive environment with excellent mentoring for ECTs.
  • Extensive SEND-specific training and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team including therapists, nurses, and specialist support staff.
  • Small class sizes and a child-centred approach to learning.
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children and their families every day.
