As an Early Years Learning Support Assistant, you will support children with early development delays, autism, communication needs, sensory processing challenges, severe learning difficulties, giving them the tools to explore, play and learn with confidence.

With your support, children who struggle to communicate or regulate their emotions can develop routines, confidence and meaningful relationships that lay the foundation for lifelong success.

What You Will Do

Support children through play – play-based, child-centred learning

Assist with communication, sensory regulation and building early independence skills

Promote positive behaviour and emotional development

Provide personal care where needed with compassion and respect

You will work alongside teachers, therapists and a supportive team, creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Who You Are

Experienced or enthusiastic about Early Years and SEND support

Nurturing, patient and passionate about helping children reach their potential

Confident in supporting personal care and developmental needs

Resilient, proactive, and able to respond calmly to challenging behaviour
