Early Years SEND TA

Could you be the person who helps a child feel confident, included and ready to learn?

Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a welcoming early years setting in Brentwood looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years SEND TA to join their team.

This role would suit someone who already has experience working with young children and wants to use that experience to make a real difference to a child with additional needs.

About the Role

You’ll provide dedicated support to a child throughout their day, working closely with the early years team to help them learn, play, communicate and develop their independence.

You could be supporting with:

• Communication and language

• Social interaction and play

• Emotional regulation and confidence

• Early learning and development

• Everyday routines and independence

• Adapting activities so the child can fully participate

• Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child

You’ll get to know the child as an individual, understand what works for them and help them feel safe, included and confident within the setting.

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting who genuinely enjoys working with young children.

SEND experience would be ideal, but we’d also like to hear from experienced Nursery Practitioners and Early Years professionals who are keen to develop their SEND experience.

You’ll need to be:

• Caring, patient and nurturing

• Confident building relationships with young children

• Adaptable and willing to get stuck in

• A good communicator and team player

• Passionate about supporting children to reach their potential

Most importantly, you need to genuinely care about helping children feel confident, included and supported.
