This Could Be the Most Rewarding Role You Ever Have

Some children need a little extra support to find their voice.

Some need help understanding the world around them.

Others need someone who believes in them before they learn to believe in themselves.

If you're the kind of person who celebrates the little wins, sees potential where others see challenges, and understands that a child's first independent sentence, friendship, smile or moment of confidence can be life changing, then this opportunity could be exactly what you've been looking for.

We are urgently seeking an exceptional Early Years SEND Practitioner to join a warm, inclusive and highly supportive primary school in Havering this September.

Due to safeguarding requirements, the school must remain anonymous until interview stage. What we can tell you is this: this is a setting where children are genuinely at the heart of everything. Staff are valued, supported and developed, and SEND provision is a real priority, not an afterthought.

The Difference You'll Make

You will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage who have a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Speech and Language Needs
• Social Communication Difficulties
• Sensory Processing Differences
• Developmental Delays

Every day will be different.

One moment you may be helping a child communicate a need for the very first time. The next, you'll be supporting sensory play, encouraging social interaction, building confidence through structured activities, or celebrating a breakthrough that others might miss but means everything to that child and their family.

This isn't simply a classroom support role.

It's an opportunity to help shape a child's future from the very beginning.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Brings warmth, patience and positivity into every interaction

• Understands that progress comes in many forms

• Can build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Is creative, adaptable and willing to think outside the box

• Has experience working within EYFS and/or SEND settings

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 3 preferred)

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.

Why You'll Love This Role

• Join a genuinely supportive and welcoming school community

• Work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals

• Gain invaluable specialist SEND experience

• Access ongoing training and professional development

• Temp to perm opportunity after just 12 weeks

• Make a real difference every single day
