EHCP Caseworker

Term Time Only + 3 weeks (42 weeks)
£31,071 - £32,460 per annum, depending on experience
We are seeking a dedicated and organised EHCP Caseworker to join the team and contribute to the effective administration and management of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). In this role, you will play a huge part in ensuring the success and well-being of students, working closely with parents, staff, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the EHCP annual review process, including scheduling, invitations, and follow-ups.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure seamless communication and timely updates.
- Maintain accurate records and track all aspects of the EHCP process.
- Produce and distribute clear documentation, including review schedules, meeting notes, and stakeholder letters.
- Facilitate meetings, take detailed notes, and oversee post-review actions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support general administrative duties, including data management, correspondence, and analysis of feedback questionnaires.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong GCSE grades (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in education or related settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with School Information Management Systems (SIMS).
- Familiarity with the EHCP process or working in SEND environments.
- Understanding of statutory guidelines relating to child protection and safeguarding.
