Working Hours: 8:00am–3:30pm (4:00pm on Tuesdays)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEND and ensuring their voices are at the centre of their Education, Health and Care Plans?

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and relationship-focused EHCP Coordinator to join a warm and nurturing specialist secondary setting. This is a unique opportunity to combine the administrative aspects of EHCP management with meaningful direct engagement with students, helping to shape positive outcomes for young people aged 14–19.

The Role

You will coordinate EHCP reviews and transition planning for students in Years 10–13, working closely with families, local authorities, social workers, colleges, and other professionals. The school places great importance on building genuine relationships with students, ensuring plans reflect their individual needs, strengths, and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead EHCP reviews, PEP meetings, and transition reviews
  • Liaise with families, local authorities, colleges, and external agencies
  • Write and maintain high-quality EHCP documentation
  • Support Year 11 and Year 13 transition planning
  • Meet regularly with students to ensure their views are reflected in plans
  • Manage review schedules, records, and multi-agency communications

  • Strong understanding of SEND and EHCP processes
