EHCP Support Assistant | Primary SEN Provision | Cricklewood, North West London | £95–£110 per day PAYE
Do you understand that every child with an EHCP has a story behind their needs and that the right adult, showing up consistently, can quietly transform how that child experiences school?
Can you sit alongside a child who is struggling, not with frustration or pity, but with patience and genuine belief following their plan, adapting your approach, and celebrating the progress that only becomes visible when someone truly pays attention? Are you ready to be the consistent, nurturing presence that helps a child with additional needs feel safe enough to learn?
If that sounds like you, a primary school in Cricklewood is looking for exactly the right person.
The Setting
This is a primary school with a strong, dedicated SEN provision a place that takes its duty to children with Education, Health and Care Plans seriously. The pupils here span Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and many carry complex profiles that require thoughtful, tailored support. The school is led by an experienced SENCO and a leadership team that understands what quality SEND provision looks like in practice. Staff are supported, development is encouraged, and the culture is one where the adults in the building are as well looked after as the children they support.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and families to ensure that every child's plan is being actively implemented not just filed away.
Who This Is For
You might be an experienced SEN TA who has worked directly with EHCP pupils before. You might come from an early years setting, a specialist provision, or a mainstream primary with a strong inclusion unit, and be ready to bring that experience to a school that will use it well. Whatever your background, you will need to be organised, compassionate, and confident working from individual plans someone who understands the difference between supporting a child and doing things for them, and who knows that real progress in SEND is measured in small, meaningful steps.

A daily rate of £95 to £110 PAYE with no umbrella companies or hidden deductions, a full-time term-time only contract with a genuine pathway to a permanent position, ongoing CPD in areas including SEND, EHCP practice and early intervention, dedicated support from an experienced education recruitment team, and the chance to play a central role in children's progress at a school that genuinely invests in its support staff.
