Emotional Support Assistant | Kingsbury School | £500–£600 per week

Are you the kind of person who shows up for children when it matters most patient, consistent and genuinely motivated to make a difference?

£500–£600 per week PAYE | Kingsbury, North West London | Full-time, term-time only

About the setting

A well-established SEND provision within a mainstream primary school in Kingsbury is looking for an Emotional Support Assistant to join their close-knit team. The provision supports pupils who need specialist input beyond the mainstream classroom, with an ethos built around understanding, structure and relationship-based practice. Staff here are experienced, committed and proud of the environment they have created for some of the school's most vulnerable learners.

The role

You will work directly alongside pupils with Autism and social, emotional and behavioural needs, supporting their access to learning, daily routines and social interaction. You will implement behaviour strategies consistently and calmly, helping pupils to regulate, re-engage and build trust with the adults around them. This is a hands-on, active role that calls for presence, flexibility and a genuine desire to understand each child as an individual.

Who this is for

  • Experienced TAs with a background in SEND, including Autism or SEMH
  • Candidates confident using structured behaviour support strategies
  • People who understand that behaviour is communication
  • Anyone who brings unconditional patience and shows up with purpose every day

What's on offer

  • £500–£600 per week PAYE
  • A supportive, specialist team behind you
  • The chance to develop real expertise in a meaningful area of education
  • Placed by Daniel at Parker Smith Inclusion, who will support you throughout the process

Ready to make a difference?

The pupils in this provision need adults who genuinely get it — who understand that progress isn't always linear and that consistent, trusted support is one of the most powerful things a TA can offer. If that sounds like you, this role is worth a conversation.

Get in touch with Daniel at Parker Smith Inclusion today to find out more or to be considered.
