English Teacher – PRU, Harlow

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and student-centred English lessons for KS3 and KS4

• Build strong relationships with students to help them develop confidence and a love of learning

• Support the development of essential literacy skills, enabling students to achieve their academic goals

• Work closely with a team of committed professionals to ensure every student receives the support they need

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching English at secondary level

• A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students who may feel disengaged from education

• A strong commitment to inclusion and helping students overcome barriers to learning

What’s On Offer

• Salary: M1 to UPS2, depending on experience

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only

• Contract: Temporary to permanent, offering a pathway to a long-term career in a supportive setting
