Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants – Barking and Dagenham
£85 - £90 per day (PAYE)
Transform lives every day – support children with special educational needs.
Do you believe every child deserves to feel supported, understood, and valued? Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term, meaningful role where you can make a real difference?
I am working with a group of fantastic primary schools in Barking and Dagenham that are committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments for children with special educational needs (SEN). These schools value their staff, encourage career progression, and focus on making a lasting, positive impact on their pupils’ lives.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate, experienced individuals who:
- Understand that all behaviour is a form of communication and can manage challenging situations with patience and empathy.
- Have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and are familiar with effective interventions.
- Hold positive handling or Team Teach training (preferred but not essential).
- Are passionate about empowering children with SEN to achieve their full potential.
- Are graduates or have significant experience supporting SEN pupils in educational settings.
- Want a consistent, long-term placement to build meaningful relationships with children, staff, and the school community.
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we believe consistency is key for both children and schools. That’s why we don’t offer daily supply roles – instead, we focus on providing reliable, long-term support.
What You’ll Gain
- Flexibility: Long-term placements designed around your needs.
- Competitive Pay: £85 - £90 per day (PAYE).
- Career Development: Work in schools that encourage and support your professional growth.
- Fulfilment: A chance to make a real difference and contribute to inclusive, supportive learning environments.
Why This Role Matters
For children with SEN, the right support can transform their school experience. They need Teaching Assistants who will champion their strengths, advocate for their needs, and provide the stability and care they deserve.
