We are looking for two experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants for a primary school in Hutton, Brentwood.
You'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with complex needs, including autism, global developmental delay, communication difficulties and sensory needs.
The role includes:

Supporting pupils to access learning and communicate their needs.

Helping with emotional regulation and sensory needs.

Following individual support and behaviour plans.

Responding calmly to challenging behaviour.

Supporting personal care where required.

Encouraging independence and celebrating progress.
Who we're looking for
Hands-on experience supporting children with complex SEND is essential. You'll need to be patient, resilient and confident supporting pupils who may be non-verbal or need significant help throughout the school day.
Experience with autism, communication needs, sensory processing, behaviour support and personal care would be particularly relevant.
