About the School
This friendly, community-driven primary school in Havering offers a nurturing and imaginative Early Years setting. The Reception team is supportive, skilled, and deeply committed to child development.
They are looking for a compassionate and capable EYFS Learning Support Assistant to work with children who require additional encouragement to settle, engage, and participate fully in early learning activities.
Your Role

Support Reception pupils with early learning, social skills, and communication

Help create a warm, stimulating, and encouraging environment

Assist with group sessions, free-flow play, phonics, early writing, and basic numeracy

Collaborate closely with the class teacher, EYFS lead, and SENCO to deliver personalised support

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive relationships in young learners
About You
-
Experience within EYFS in a school, nursery, or early years provision

Nurturing, patient, and able to bring out the best in young children

Solid understanding of EYFS principles, child-led learning, and early communication approaches

Creative, enthusiastic, and a strong team player

Dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn
