EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
£90 to £110 per day PAYE
Monday to Thursday, 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM

Are you experienced working in Early Years looking to develop your experience further to support students with SEN. If so, we are working alongside an independent prep school based in Hillingdon who are looking to appoint a EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a student on a 1:1 basis who is awaiting their Autism assessment. This will be a part-time position (Monday to Thursday) starting immediately till the end of the academic year. The daily rate will vary between £90 to £110 depending on your qualifications and expeirence.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student who is awaiting an Autism assessment
- Be able to identify levels of dysregulation and support the student effectively
- Be able to set clear boundaries within the classroom and throughout the school day
- Support the student with sensory regulation and manage behaviour
- Work closely with Class Teachers, Therapists and the wider SEN team to aid development
- Maintain a safe, supporting and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Level 2/3 in Childcare (preferred not essential)
- Experience with special needs in a professional or personal capacity
- Confident supporting children or young people who display dysregulation during learning
- Patient and calm with a positive and proactive approach to learning
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role where consistency is paramount
