Every day will bring new challenges, but also new breakthroughs. If you’re ready to support, encourage, and celebrate every step forward, this could be the role for you.

About the school:

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon providing education for pupils aged 3 to 11 years old. The school delivers a broad and engaging curriculum, with a strong commitment to supporting children with SEND through inclusive teaching and targeted interventions.

With a focus on both academic progress and personal development, the school promotes positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and a supportive community ethos—helping every child to feel confident, valued, and ready to succeed.

Key features include:

  • Inclusive SEND provision with personalised support strategies
  • Broad, balanced and engaging curriculum
  • Strong focus on wellbeing, behaviour and pupil development
  • Supportive and community-focused environment
  • Enrichment opportunities to enhance learning and experiences

About the role:

You will support pupils in an EYFS SEND provision for children with autism, helping to create a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where they feel safe to explore and learn. You will work closely with the class team to deliver play-based learning, support communication and interaction, and use consistent routines to help children regulate and engage. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting activities to meet individual needs and celebrating each child’s progress.

Who this role will suit:

You are caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children with autism. You will understand early development and a willingness to use structured approaches to support communication and behaviour. You are someone who can build warm, trusting relationships, stay calm and flexible, and find joy in helping children take small but meaningful steps in their learning and development.
