EYFS SEND Teacher - Join a Warm, Welcoming Primary School in Barnet
We’re looking for an EYFS SEND Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Barnet. This is a genuinely supportive, friendly place where staff feel valued and children are at the heart of everything.
If you’re someone who lights up when a child makes progress, even the tiny steps, this could be a great fit for you.
About the School
This is a caring, community-focused primary with a really warm atmosphere. Staff describe it as a place where people look out for one another, and where you feel encouraged to try new ideas. The Early Years team is hands-on, supportive, and always happy to share good practice. Leaders are approachable and genuinely invested in making sure both children and staff thrive.
The Role
You’ll be working within the EYFS, supporting children with a range of SEND needs. The school has a strong inclusion ethos, and you’ll have a SENCO who is very present, proactive, and easy to work with. You’ll have time to plan, freedom to be creative, and support from experienced TAs who know the children well.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Creating engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences
- Working closely with families to understand each child’s needs
- Adapting activities to help every child participate
- Celebrating small wins (the school is big on this!)
- Being part of a caring, collaborative team
What They’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with EYFS experience
- Someone patient, calm, and genuinely passionate about SEND
- A teacher who believes strongly in early intervention and child-led learning
- A team player who values communication and shared ideas
What the School Can Offer
- A positive, nurturing environment with a real community feel
- A supportive leadership team who listen and act
- Colleagues who are friendly, down-to-earth, and always happy to help
- Opportunities for CPD, especially around SEND and early years development
- A role where you’ll truly see the impact of your work on children and families
If this sounds like somewhere you’d enjoy working and somewhere you’d feel you could make a real difference we’d love to hear from you. Either email Zack Neal on zack@psinclusion.co.uk or call in on 0203 011 4848. Apply today and we’ll be in touch with the next steps.
