EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and develop? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Thurrock on a full-time basis.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact during their important early years of education. You will work alongside the class teacher to support children’s learning, encourage independence, and create a fun, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
The successful candidate will be warm, patient, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential. You will support children through play, structured activities, and everyday classroom experiences, helping them to build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy their learning journey.
The role will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities.
- Working with children individually and in small groups.
- Encouraging children’s communication, confidence, and independence.
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development.
- Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery experience desirable).
- Is caring, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for early years education.
- Works well as part of a team and is committed to supporting children’s development.
